KAMUELA PHILHARMONIC PRESENTS SALON RECITAL WITH PIANIST BORIS KONOVALOV
On Saturday, January 17, 2009, the Kamuela Philharmonic Orchestra will present a salon recital featuring renowned Russian pianist, Boris Konovalov, at a private home in the beautiful country town of Hawi, North Kohala on the Big Island. The recital, which starts at 4 pm, will include popular classical compositions such as Beethoven's "Moonlight" Sonata, and Chopin's Polonaise in A-flat Major. Pupus, wine and other refreshments will be served.
The recital is a fundraiser for the Kamuela Philharmonic Orchestra Society, and the suggested donation is $50. Because attendance will be limited, reservations are required. Directions to the venue will be provided as reservations are made. For more information and reservations, call 808-325-4991.
